Detailed Course and Driving Test Information

  • Must be 15 to attend unless seeking a farm driving license. Then 13.5.
  • All students, regardless of age, take either the Youth Driving Package or the Paced Driving Package.

  • Youth Package $400
    (See Paced Permit Class below)

    • 10 Hours of Class work : 5 Hours on Saturday, 5 Hours Sunday.
      Same weekend.
    • Drive with instructor 3 times. Each drive is 2 hours.
    • Use the Student Portal on website to enroll in driving times. Goal is to finish in next 45 days.
    • At enrollment both parent and student receive their username and password that is activated on Sunday of classwork weekend. Delivered by email. Check spam.
    • For best results and to avoid possible tickets causing drivers license delay to age 18, students shouldn’t drive with parents until Permit is issued.
    • On completion of 3rd drive, Student receives official Completion Certificate Immediately.
      Make 3 additional copies of the front side.
      - One for important papers file at home.
      - One to give tag agent for permit.
      - One to give to insurance agent.
      - One to give examiner when taking the physical driving test at age 16.
      Duplicate copies are time consuming.
      EXPECT a $25 charge and a mail delivery of this sensitive official document.
    • Please eliminate using Department of Public Safety and Service Oklahoma for Permit.
    • Use your local tag agency. Please take 1) our Certificate of Completion, 2) original birth certificate, 3) social security number, 4) Two pieces of mail addressed to parent proving residency so student driver can have Real ID.
  • Permit is a REAL DRIVERS LICENSE WITH A #9 RESTRICTION.
    - Driver must have someone in front seat of vehicle aged 21 or older at all times.
  • Parents are required by law to drive with student a minimum of 50 hours while using permit.
    - 40 hours in daylight and 10 hours after sunset.
  • Student/Parent should download phone application “Road Ready” to record hours.

  • Student should open Work Zone Safe. Do 45 course and print off Completion Certificate to give to Road Test Examiner.

  • Paced Driving Package $625

    • Some students learn at a bit slower pace. At the request of public school teachers at all of our locations, we offer a course that provides 4 more hours of behind the wheel instruction. Feel free to use this tool if past experiences tell you this is needed OR buy extra blocks of time as you feel is needed.
    • This course is ideal for those with ADHD, LD issues or high functioning autism.
    • Two hour driving blocks are $150 each.
    • Please feel free to counsel with instructor after each drive for information to help you make decisions concerning these issues.

Driving Test Information

  • Majority of students taking our course, also Drive Test with Certified.
    - The 10 minute drive test administered by the state is done by individuals “with no skin in the game.” It’s just a job. Students sense this and many are overwhelmed with anxiety accordingly and do poorly even when they are good drivers.
  • Certified Designated Examiners are our classroom or behind the wheel instructors.
    - Our students trust and know these people. Certified only hires personnel that “have the heart of a teacher” and love working with youth. They celebrate victories and are just as disappointed as the student if the candidate isn’t successful.
  • Instead of a 10 minute pass or fail event, Certified take about an hour with the test taker.
    - Examiner first goes over the basic skills being tested. Then they do a short pretest. As professionals we understand that students are watching other untrained or careless drivers and pick up bad habits. We factor in enough time to “fix” those problems before the actual test begins.
    THEN WE GIVE THE TEST.
  • Certified uses our safety equipped vehicles for testing.
  • All tests begin and conclude at our school locations which we choose purposefully because of nature (road conditions, traffic flow, obstacles and safety) of the site. Visualize for a moment where our schools are positioned.
  • Students are to bring with them Permit, Work Zone Safe Document and Driving School. Completion Certificate and cash payment for the test.
  • Certified Designated Examiners will test graduates of our driving school and any other State approved commercial or high school driving school. We do not test studentsfrom online parent taught programs because of past negativity.
    Farm license candidates are referred to the State Department of Public Safety or Service Oklahoma because of the rigid rules governing their testing.
  • Certified’s fee for testing is $100 cash paid directly to the examiner before the test.

  • TO SCHEDULE:
    Text a photo of student’s permit to the appropriate examiner. That person will check eligibility and return a phone call with scheduling opportunities in the next 24 hours.
